How can one illustrate universal lessons of the Holocaust through the powerful medium of art? How can the artist remain true to the historical narrative without compromising artistry? How can students explore their creative talent while learning about such a weighty subject as the Holocaust? These questions and more will be addressed during this two-hour programme featuring presentations on Holocaust art by creative professionals in dance, literature, film and music. Organized by the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme, the event will be open to the diplomatic community, students and teachers and general public.
