Projektbeschreibung:
Dear colleagues,..Since 2005, the Democratic Memorial – the memorial institution of the Government of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia – has been promoting a network of memorial areas relating to the Spanish Civil War and the Francoist Dictatorship, as a reminder of any aspects of our recent history that allow us to strengthen our democracy...One of the initiatives of this network – which is aimed at raising awareness of our own memorial areas – is to improve the international profile of areas similar to our own that are for commemoration and reflection on freedoms and democracy...To this end we are setting up a website that aims to give information about memorial areas all over the world and we intend to include your centre amongst the memorials featured. Although we already have information about your centre, we would like to request one or more photos of it, including captions, so that it can be included on this website in the future...Please accept our thanks in advance for working with us and we invite you to visit the website that shows our network: www.espaisdememoria.cat..We would also like to inform you that, if we do not receive a response, we will understand that we have your permission to use one of the photographs already used on your own website....Laura Molinos Solà
